Rayca Precision selected for the 2026 DayOne Accelerator in Basel

Rayca Precision has been selected for the 2026 cohort of the DayOne Accelerator, run by DayOne Healthtech Innovation in Basel. Fifteen early-stage TechBio and HealthTech companies were chosen after the programme’s most competitive application cycle to date, with nearly 240 applications from 47 countries, for three months inside one of the densest pharma R&D ecosystems in the world.
DayOne describes Rayca as connecting pharma’s siloed developability and biophysics data into one self-improving molecular intelligence layer that guides drug design, weighing the liabilities that end drugs late before any molecule is made.
“Drug discovery loses most of what it learns at the molecular level. Every program rediscovers what the last one already established about selectivity, exposure and developability, because that knowledge sits in individual heads and disconnected internal silos. Basel is where the people who run these programs at scale are, and over the next three months we will be there to work with them.”
Kickoff bootcamp
The programme opened with three days in Basel. The first two covered the realities of pharma partnerships, direct conversations with experts who challenged the companies’ assumptions, and a go-to-market workshop to refine how each company positions itself with pharma partners. The third day was a tour of the Novartis campus and a chance to meet residents of the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area.
